Meet the Team

Our team is dedicated entirely to provide the students that come from low-income backgrounds with a proper supplemental nutrition during the weekends through our backpack program. No child goes hungry. We believe that in order for students at the Bonsall Unified School District to learn, they need proper nutrition.

Carol Wood - Founder & President

Retired from teaching for 32 years at Bonsall Elementary School. Married mother of 3 grown children .  After retirement she saw a need to help the children in the district who are food compromised  These children need good nutrition on the weekend. Good nutrition is directly related to learning. In order to fulfill this need, Love On Your Back was formed.
